Happy Vacation To All
•March 19, 2010 • 1 CommentSchool is over.
For those who took the time to listen to your teachers and worked for your own understanding, I congratulate you because you value knowledge and hardwork. You will be grateful you did so when its time for you to go to the real world. The ability and willingness to learn are the greatest weapons anyone must possess in order to survive.
I don’t believe there are dummies and idiots in this world. Even if you are not a genius you can still read and ask questions to clarify things. But if you do not want to work for it no one can help you.
If you can answer the question “Why do I have to study music even if I am not going to be a musician?” then you are the person who actually achieved freedom from all the labors of studying. Show your understanding of it through your actions and you might actually get an E for your music grade.
Just a thought.
Have a great summer guys!

EXTRA GRADES IN MUSIC
•March 14, 2010 • Leave a CommentFor those who are interested in having extra-grades or better grades that will hopefully help pull up your grades here are some of the things that you may work on:
1. Scrap book for Victoria Diez song writing contest (Both elimination at the Music Room and Finals at the 2nd Floor Gym )
- Ask photos from the tripod society, I have some photos with me
- Three people may share this project
- Due March 17 2.
2. Scrap book for Music exhibit during the National Arts Month (February)
- Ask me for the photos
- Three people may share this project
- Due March 17
INTERESTED PEOPLE MUST LET ME KNOW ON MONDAY MARCH 15, 2010.
OS candidates: Make sure to study well for the trim exam, an E or a VG is not that hard to achieve as long as you make an effort to really COMPREHEND what the music is all about. Practice inversions of I, IV & V triads of all the major keys if you have to. This task (scrapbook making) will not help you if your trim exam is a G or S so leave it to those who really need it.
